The Dark Suckers

I once had a teacher,
That made me question light,
His theory was simple
And it could be right

He said that in all of the bulbs
Which we plug in the wall,
Suck the dark, so we can see it all,

For in all the world, dark hangs like a mist
Light bulbs suck the dark, that is the twist

Look at a fire, and see the smoke
And what it leaves behind is no joke
That black, sooted residue is concentrated black,
It is solid dark, before it comes back

So, remember what I say, and take heed,
Life is complex, not simple indeed.
